Giving and following directions



This is a very funny activity. Students , in groups, read the following instructions and directions and  follow them. When finishing , they will write their own directions in a small white blackboard and the other groups will have to do it.

Challenge 11: Word clouds



In this challenge, we are going to create word clouds ( nubes de palabras) . It is super simple and it is really useful to learn vocabulary.

Reading a map



Today, we read a map using the compass rose. We learn how to read a map and the importance of key when reading.
Then, we create our compass craft.

Game time!!


In this lesson, children reinforce their vocabulary about places in a town . They play picture-word domino and enjoy learning






Art and crafts: Where are they from?


The different steps for this activity are:


  • Students talk about how many friends they have from different nationalities and countries. 
  • Then, we show a video with people from around the World.
  • Third, take a copy with the face o a boy or a girl to color as a flag.
  • They cut it out and stick in a black craft paper
  • Then, they write where he or she is from
  • Finally, they introduce the characters talking about their names, country and nationality.

Challenge 9: Describing my room ( 5th level)

This is a great challenge. For this challenge you need :

  • a mobile phone

  1. Watch the tutorial video and create a similar video about your favorite room. 
  2. When you finish, share your video with me  by whatssapp. My telephone number is in the tutorial video.

Art and crafts

The class of art and crafts has been really funny today. We have discuss about countries and famous monuments of the World.

In class 5,  we have created jigsaws using a cooperative activity . Children didn´t know who was the person who had their puzzle pieces, so they have to colour, decide which monument it was and its country .

Then, when they finish it, they have to find out  the four different pieces to complete the image using questions such as: Have you got...? Where is your picture from?










In class 6 , the activity was related to cooperative technique and monuments too. In groups of 4, students had to decide which are the most important monuments in the World and make a list with at least 5 of them.
Once they have discussed and taken  a decision, they will draw the monuments and create a collage with them .
